O Christ, our Lord, You offered Yourself as a pleasing incense before God the Father. Because of You, we may be a pleasing incense before God. Though our prayers and offerings are abominable and foul smelling, touch and purify us with Your holy hand which cleansed the lepers to make our prayers and offerings sweet smelling fragrances. May this incense blessed by You, arise before You, O Lord, and may Your mercy come down upon us. Let my prayer, O Lord, like incense before You; the lifting up of my hands, like the evening sacrifice.
